Shang Yongqi , is a professor of the School of Journalism and Communication, Ningbo University. He also serves as the vice president of the Chinese Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties History Society and the executive director of the Chinese Society of Chinese and Foreign Relations History. Mainly engaged in research on the history of Buddhist dissemination, Silk Road civilization, image history, and animal history from 3rd to 6th century. Published over 50 academic papers in journals such as Social Sciences in China and Historical Research, and authored 10 books in China Social Sciences Press and the Commercial Press. Has won multiple awards, including the Second Prize for Humanities and Social Sciences Achievements in Zhejiang Province in 2021.
