Tian Qitao, born in June 1983, from Shangqiu, Henan Province.He is a PhD, professor, and master's supervisor. Currently, he is the Vice Dean of the School of Humanities and Communication at Ningbo University and a director of the Zhejiang Linguistic Society. He was selected as a "Zhejiang East Young Scholar" in 2019 ,and selected as a "Zhejiang Provincial Leading Talent Training Program for Higher Education Institutes"(high-level top talent) in 2022. His main research areas include the history of the Chinese language and the language of Taoist literature. He has hosted one project funded by the National Social Science Fund and three projects from the Ministry of Education and other provincial and ministerial levels. He has published over 20 papers in journals such as "Chinese Language" "Language Research" "Research on Ancient Chinese" "Journal of Chinese Historical Linguistics" "Journal of Chinese Historical Studies" "Dunhuang Research" "Journal of Religious Studies" "Dictionary Research" "Chinese Religion" "Journal of Chinese Etymology". He has also published one academic monograph. His research achievements have won him the "Youth Award" of the 22nd Zhejiang Philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award, as well as first and second prizes in the Zhejiang Linguistic Society's Youth Paper Competition. He won the first prize in the 8th Youth Teacher Teaching Skills Competition of the School of Humanities and Media at Ningbo University, and the second prize in the 8th Youth Teacher Teaching Competition at Ningbo University.
